About the Griffin Armament Recce 5
The Recce 5 is Griffin Armament's standard 5.56mm rifle can. It measures 6.2" long and 1.47" in diameter, and weighs 14.5 oz. It is machined and welded from stainless steel, and it is full auto rated. The ECO-FLOW baffle system cuts backpressure so a gas gun throws less blowback at the shooter, and a low profile flash reducer is built into the end cap.
Mounting is Griffin's Taper Mount RI (Rapid Index) interface, which works with earlier Taper Mount devices. The taper lock holds point of impact steady, and the indexing threads let it go on in about five seconds. A 1/2-28 Taper Mount muzzle brake is included, so it fits a standard 5.56mm barrel out of the box.
