About the Griffin Armament Optimus Micro
The Optimus Micro is a small, stout can built from heat treated stainless steel throughout. It runs 22 LR, 22 WMR, 17 HMR and 5.7mm with no barrel length limits, and with the included 1/2-28 direct thread mount it is also rated for 223/5.56mm on barrels 14.5" and longer. As it comes in the box it measures 5.3" long and 1.1" in diameter and weighs 8.5 oz.
Interlocking HEDP baffles stay durable and properly aligned, and dual taper locking front caps keep the can from coming apart under hard use. The Micro can also be set up with Griffin's 3-lug kit or the Optimus Micro Taper Mount interface, which raises the rating to 22-250 on 22" barrels. Those parts are sold separately. The box includes the tube, end cap and lock ring, five baffles, the direct thread mount, a manual and a pouch.
