Magtech Cowboy Action 45 Colt 250gr LFN 50rd Box

Magtech built this 45 Colt load for Cowboy Action shooters: a 250gr lead flat nose bullet at about 761 fps, 50rd to the box. The mild velocity keeps recoil manageable over a full stage and is easy on older single action revolvers.

The flat nose makes it safe to run in the tube magazine of a lever action rifle, so one box can feed both guns on the line. Heavy lead bullets ring steel plates and knock them down on the first hit. Clean the bore after a match, since plain lead leaves more fouling than jacketed bullets.
