The Ruger 8311 American Rimfire brings the Ruger American Rimfire series into a full-size 17 HMR bolt-action built for varmint control, target work and range days, featuring a 22" satin-blued cold hammer-forged barrel and alloy steel receiver with an integral 3/8" rimfire scope mount machined and tapped for Weaver #12 bases for fast optics setup. The rifle's ergonomic black fixed synthetic stock includes two interchangeable length-of-pull modules for scope or iron sight comb height, quick-change in seconds by removing the rear sling stud, while the Power Bedding integral bedding block free-floats the barrel and locates the receiver for consistent accuracy; a Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger lets shooters tune pull weight between 3—5 lbs for crisp releases. Practical handling is aided by a 60� bolt for generous scope clearance, receiver-mounted bolt release, visible tang safety, fiber-optic front and adjustable V-slot rear sights, and a detachable flush-mounted JMX-1 rotary magazine released by an easy 10/22-style extended magazine release.
