Springfield Armory Hellion 5.56 NATO 20" 30rd Bullpup Rifle

The Hellion is Springfield Armory's bullpup, with the action set behind the trigger so you get a full length barrel in a short rifle. This 20" version stretches the barrel for extra velocity from 5.56 NATO while staying around 33" overall. The barrel is ribbed for rigidity and cooling, finished in Melonite, twisted 1:7 for heavier bullets, and topped with a four prong flash hider. True to the original design, it has an integrated bayonet lug.

Controls are fully ambidextrous, and the ejection is reversible, so left handed shooters are not an afterthought. A two position adjustable short stroke gas piston has a setting for suppressed use. Integrated flip up sights pop up when you need them, the Picatinny top rail takes an optic, and the polymer handguard has M-LOK slots. The 5 position stock has a cheek riser, the grip is a BCMGUNFIGHTER Mod 3. It comes with one 30 round Magpul PMAG Gen M3 and a padded rifle case with two exterior magazine pouches. Weight is about 8 pounds 6 ounces.
