Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Ti 6.5 CM 22" 4rd Rifle

The Weatherby Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Ti is one of the lightest production hunting rifles Weatherby builds. This one is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 22 inch fluted #1 MOD barrel and a 4 round magazine, and it weighs about 4.8 pounds. The titanium Mark V action is the core of the build, cutting weight compared to the steel action while keeping its strength.

The Peak 44 Blacktooth carbon fiber stock is finished with gray and white sponge accents over black and carries a second generation 3DHEX recoil pad. An Accubrake ST sits on the 1/2-28 threaded muzzle, which makes this light rifle easy to spot shots with. Spiral fluting on the bolt body trims weight and smooths the cycle, and the barrel, trigger guard, bolt, bolt knob and safety are finished in graphite black Cerakote. The 1:8 twist stabilizes the long, high BC 6.5 bullets hunters favor for deer, pronghorn and sheep.
