A 180gr bullet out of a 300 Weatherby Magnum is about as all around as big game loads get. The cartridge dates to 1944 and still shoots flatter than most 30 caliber magnums, which gives you room for error on longer shots at deer, elk and sheep.

This Select Plus load uses the Barnes TTSX, a solid copper bullet with a polymer tip that starts expansion and petals that stay attached for deep penetration. It is lead free and California certified nonlead. Weatherby lists 3232 fps at the muzzle. Sold in a 20rd box.
